Business Development cum Telesales Executive 

Job Description

  • Outbound Prospecting: 
    • Identify new opportunities in target industries using digital tools etc.  
    • Qualify leads through outbound efforts such as cold calling, emails etc, to assess their potential as clients.  
  • Collaborative Lead Generation and Upsell: 
    • Work closely with the marketing team to execute lead generation and customer upsell campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.  
    • Use insights from marketing campaigns to identify and prioritise high-potential leads for follow-up. 
  • Pipeline Management :
    • Manage and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression through the sales funnel and to the sales team. 
    • Provide regular reports on outreach activity and pipeline status to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in any field with minimum 2-year working experience. 
  • Prior experience in sales and/or telesales. 

Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong relationship-building skills. 
  • Excellent telephone communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in use of digital tools.  Prior experience with CRM systems and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo is a plus. 
  • Organised and effective time management skills. 
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently. 
  • Ability to handle rejection and setback positively and persistently pursue leads. 
  • Ability to work effectively across departments.
